I'm Danyang, an engineer moving from computer vision toward robot perception. This space holds foundational study notes alongside practice logs that put each concept back into RGB-D, LiDAR, ROS 2 and drone projects.
Who I am
I’m Danyang, an engineer working my way from computer vision toward robot perception and embodied intelligence.
Why this space exists
Most of what I learn about robots comes down to one question: how does a machine turn raw sensor data into a world it can act in? Deep Insight is where I slow down and rebuild each step — from vectors and rotations, to coordinate frames and calibration, to maps and world models — until it makes intuitive sense.
What I’m working on
- Perception and mapping for a drone platform (Drone Ranger)
- RGB-D and LiDAR data collection and calibration
- Reading and writing about world models for robotics
